I was left with a chronic dissected artery, so I have mobility and other issues. I was told I could never work again. When I needed support after my stroke I struggled because there wasn’t much help. My wife and I had to research online to find information as far as financial support, emotional and medical support. Living in a remote area, I struggled getting physiotherapy, we are not eligible for the same programs and medical assistance that patients are in larger centres.
